Founding
Operator.
1845 Ventures is building a new company in stealth at the intersection of real estate and financial infrastructure.
We're looking for the first operator to help transform a validated opportunity into a category-defining company.
Dallas, Texas.
The foundation is in place. What comes next is execution.
Dallas Required.
This role is based in Dallas, Texas.
We believe great companies are built shoulder-to-shoulder — in person, with the founders and venture studio leadership.
If you are not willing to be in Dallas, this role is not the right fit.
This is not a normal role.
And we are not a normal company.
This company did not start last week.
The market has been studied.
The thesis has been pressure-tested.
The white paper has been written.
Customers have been interviewed.
Industry partners have been engaged.
Pilot programs have been secured.
The foundation is in place.
What comes next is execution.
We are looking for someone who wants to help build the company during the most important stage of its journey.
What exists today is a combination that rarely comes together this early:
Built alongside founders with more than 60 years of combined experience across real estate, financial services, company building, venture creation, operations, and capital formation.
The backing and resources of 1845 Ventures.
A validated market opportunity hiding in plain sight.
Early customers.
Strategic partners.
Industry relationships.
A clear roadmap.
And the conviction that the next generation of real estate and financial infrastructure will be built by a small team willing to move faster than everyone else.
Years of operating inside
a market that hasn't caught up yet.
The foundation is in place.
What comes next is execution.
Built alongside founders with more than 60 years of combined experience across real estate, financial services, venture creation, operations, and capital formation.
Backed by 1845 Ventures.
We've spent decades operating inside industries that remain fragmented, manual, and underserved.
We believe the next category-defining company in this space has not yet been built.

Eight jobs.
Our first operator.
Turn thesis into execution
The research is done and the roadmap exists. You translate conviction into customers, systems, and shipped product.
Own the thesis
Pressure-test, refine and defend the wedge with us. Pivot if the data says so.
Talk to the market
Operators, lenders, brokers, GPs, allocators. 30 calls a week, every week, until patterns deepen.
Hire #2, #3, #4
You are not staffing a team. You are choosing the people who choose to come with you.
Run capital
Model, cap table, runway, pricing. The math has to work and you are the one doing it.
Ship product
Whether it's software, a financial vehicle, or paper at first — you are the one who ships.
Operate the system
Real estate doesn't move on slides. You will be in basements, escrow offices, and county records.
Earn your seat
Ownership is earned here. Responsibility grows with execution. Influence grows with impact.
Read both columns.
Be honest with yourself.
- You've started something before — company, product, team, or a serious side project that earned real revenue.
- You move faster alone than most teams move together.
- You enjoy the part of a startup that other people complain about.
- You can sit in front of a spreadsheet, a customer, and a contract — and feel at home in all three.
- You are willing to be in Dallas, in person, full stop.
- You're looking for a senior IC role inside a stable team.
- You want a defined scope and a manager who unblocks you.
- You want to join after the company is fully built.
- You think "founding" is a title, not a job description.
- You're not willing to relocate.

We're not telling the
world yet.
We're telling you.
The thesis is sharp. The studio is committed. The team at 1845 has done this before — multiple times, with scars to prove it.
What we won't say in public yet: the wedge, the name, the launch timeline. We'll cover all of it on the second call.
For now: assume the work is real, the upside is uncapped, and the bar is the highest one we've ever set for a hire.
Most startups hire after the
company has already been built.
We're hiring before that.
The market has been validated.
The foundation is in place.
Pilot customers have been secured.
Strategic relationships have been established.
The roadmap exists.
What we need now is an exceptional operator who wants to help build the machine.
Someone willing to take ownership.
Someone willing to move quickly.
Someone who sees opportunity where others see uncertainty.
Five steps.
No recruiter in the middle.

Half a day together. We give you the actual problem and build alongside you.
- 05
Offer & close
Cap table, comp, scope, start date. Then we go.
Every serious application will be reviewed personally.
We're looking for our first operator.
Not everyone will enjoy this role.
The right person will love it.
Builders
People who create before they are asked.
Operators
People who turn ideas into outcomes.
Entrepreneurs
People who naturally see opportunity and ownership.
Former Athletes
People comfortable with discipline, pressure, and accountability.
Veterans
People who understand mission, execution, and teamwork.
Startup Obsessives
People who genuinely love building companies.
High Agency Humans
People who solve problems without waiting for permission.
This role is designed for people who would rather own outcomes than tasks.
Tell us who you are.
In your own words.
No cover letter theatre. No "passionate about." Write to us the way you'd write to a friend you respect.
Every serious application will be reviewed personally.
We're looking for our first operator.
One last thing
Most great companies
are built by people who
had to be there.
If that is you — for this thesis, in this town, with this team — we'd like to hear from you before the rest of the world hears from us.
